Quick-formulation of Summa’s response: Quest for

Potential is transcendent and overarching and
innite.

Potential was the catalyst for life and sustains
it.

Consequently, by
denition, Quest for Potential qualies

as a “divine dynamic,” albeit not a deity.

Whether or not this dynamic is a “religious
divine”

manifested in the classic God of Israel or related,
is open

to debate. Summa very carefully takes no position on
this

particular debate.

Note that the “religious version” would not be as

metaphysically lean (pure) as the non-religious position.

On the other hand, the “religious version” is
more

textured, and, of course, has the not insignicant
potential

cosmic benet of greater “spiritual potential.”
