overall context. Most \ue0c4elds of knowledge have

essentially on their own (or linked to close \ue0c4elds)
\n in an\n <\/div>\n
ineffable and gr<\/span>eatly
\n inexplicable cosmos. Not explicated-\n <\/div>\n
by or tethered-to an all-enveloping metaphysics.
\n Summa<\/span>,\n <\/div>\n
however<\/span>, offers a powerful
\n all-embracing context and\n <\/div>\n
integrated thesis.<\/div>\n
While the author and many academic luminaries
\n believe\n <\/div>\n
Summa to be <\/span>on-the-mark, it may or may not be. But, <\/span><\/div>\n
certain aspects regar<\/span>ding
\n Summa<\/span> are hard to dispute:\n <\/div>\n
It <\/span>seems <\/span>to <\/span>be elegant, <\/span>powerful,
\n <\/span>overarching, <\/span>integrated<\/span>
\n <\/span><\/div>\n
and <\/span>holistic.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n
Its core thesis has r<\/span>emained
\n unchallenged.\n <\/div>\n
It alone among known metaphysical schemas<\/div>\n
systematically and conceptually seems to truly
\n unify\n <\/div>\n
Science, Spirituality<\/span>,
\n Philosophy and Religion.\n <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
\n
And, \ue0c4nally<\/span>, Summa<\/span> is essentially \u201cthe only game in\n <\/div>\n
town.\u201d There is simply no known bona \ue0c4de<\/span>
\n dir<\/span>ectly\n <\/div>\n
competing, even somewhat compelling (overarching\n <\/div>\n
and well-integrated) metaphysics known to us.*<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
*<\/div>\n
Respectfully<\/span>, classic
\n religious philosophies ar<\/span>e not counted here\n <\/div>\n
as competing metaphysics. Respectfully<\/span>, their systems tend to\n <\/div>\n
include as integral to their core paradigms, a
\n particular inef<\/span>fable\n <\/div>\n
and inexplicable deity or divine. Ditto for
\n (obscure) T<\/span>aoism. Rather<\/span>,\n <\/div>\n
religious philosophies can and should consider
\n Summa as a\n <\/div>\n
potential add-on or wrap-around schema.<\/div>\n
The alleged competitor to Summa \u2013
\n Neoplatonism\u2019<\/span>s ancient\n <\/div>\n
offshoot schema Aristotelianism \u2013 is, r<\/span>espectfully<\/span>, simply too\n <\/div>\n
simplistic, too assumption-laden, too incomplete
\n and, respectfully<\/span>, <\/span><\/div>\n
more accurately in the r<\/span>ealm
\n of religious philosophy<\/span>. As noted [see\n <\/div>\n
Khalil \u201cForewor<\/span>d\u201d]:
\n Aristotelianism has a gaping-hole in it.\n <\/div>\n
As well, Aristotelianism is often dead-wrong. For
\n instance, it\n <\/div>\n
