The estimable physicist\/cosmologist Stephen
\n Hawking\n <\/div>\n
posits*<\/div>\n
a<\/div>\n
that \u201cthere is no God.\u201d His (alleged) truism is
\n that\n <\/div>\n
\u201cthere is, indeed, a fr<\/span>ee lunch.\u201d What Hawking means <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
and articulates is that the entire universe mor<\/span>e-or<\/span>-less\n <\/div>\n
spontaneously popped out of nothingness.<\/div>\n
Hawking\u2019<\/span>s r<\/span>easoning, as he explicitly articulates it, is that \u2013\n <\/div>\n
(A) since when one factors-in newly-hypothesized\n <\/div>\n
dark energy*<\/div>\n
b<\/div>\n
(c.1998), positive and negative energy<\/div>\n
mathematically balances-out the universe, then<\/div>\n
(B) one can (allegedly) consequently conclude that
\n there is\n <\/div>\n
no God (necessary for Creation).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
However<\/span>, the Hawking logic
\n is fatally \ue0c5awed, as is more or\n <\/div>\n
less obvious.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
For (A) can be true, without (B) being true.<\/div>\n
Meaning, (B) does not necessarily \ue0c5ow from (A).\n <\/div>\n
Summa Metaphysica (\ue0c4rst volume 1988) along with
\n many\n <\/div>\n
predecessor metaphysics formulations, some pr<\/span>e-dating it\n <\/div>\n
by thousands of years, hypothesizes*<\/div>\n
c<\/div>\n
a net-<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
\n
zero-balanced universe.<\/div>\n
d<\/div>\n
Some, if not the overwhelming<\/div>\n
majority<\/span>, of these
\n \u201cnet-zero\u201d metaphysics, along with\n <\/div>\n
Summa Metaphysica, embrace a transcendent force\n <\/div>\n
and\/or a Divine in the creation equation. Even if
\n we<\/span> ar<\/span>e\n <\/div>\n
cumulatively hypothesized as being integral to the
\n Divine,\n <\/div>\n
as per Summa.<\/div>\n
W<\/span>ith due respect to
\n Hawking, not even a r<\/span>ock, let alone a\n <\/div>\n
universe, spontaneously pops-out of nothingness.\n <\/div>\n
Respectfully<\/span>, giggling \ue0c4ve
\n years old girls frolicking at the\n <\/div>\n
seashore on a balmy June day<\/span>, tip-toeing thr<\/span>ough the\n <\/div>\n
foamy surf where ocean wavelets lap onto the beach,

not simply pop out of nothingness.<\/div>\n
